The Geothermal Energy Association (GEA), the trade association for the geothermal power industry, will hold its fourth annual “International Geothermal Energy Showcase” on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC.
This one-day event will bring together industry and governmental leaders from the key global geothermal markets. The program for the event seeks to highlight how government policies work to support geothermal energy development. The International Geothermal Energy Showcase will be widely attended with over two-hundred industry leaders, foreign diplomats, financiers, government officials, embassies, congressional staffers, law firms, multilateral companies, and the geothermal industry at large expected. Past events have welcomed participants from over 20 different countries, over 20 U.S. Government agencies and leading international institutions.
This event is being produced in collaboration with the U.S. Trade Development Agency, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. State Department, and the Export-Import Bank of the United States. In addition to Kenya, we are inviting representatives from the New Zealand, Caribbean, Chile, other East African countries, Indonesia, the Philippines, Europe, Peru, Nicaragua, and Turkey to be part of the program.
