"Batman v Superman" is just about ready to release a trailer before the year ends. Unconfirmed rumors have Jenna Malone playing a female Robin for the film, while Jesse Eisenberg is wanted as Lex Luthor for a supervillains movie.
IB Times reports writer Bill Ramey revealing that the first teaser trailer for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is ready to be released. Citing Batman-on-Film as a source, the article mentions insiders slating the first trailer for a November or December release with speculations that it could be released alongside "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies," which will be showing on December 17.
There is also some rumor that Jenna Malone has been cast as a female Robin for the movie. HNGN reports Malone refusing to comment when asked by an E! News reporter in a launch party held for "The Art of Discovery on Rodeo Drive." According to the article, Malone did not say a single word and simply walked away, leaving rumors unconfirmed.
Despite her silence on the casting rumor, HNGN mentions Malone being on the set of the movie in Detroit back in August. One month after, the actress was allegedly seen with red hair, which would fit in with Carrie Kelly's character, the female Robin in "The Dark Knight" comics.
According to Comic Book, Malone supposedly visited the set to see "Sucker Punch" director Zack Snyder. Comic Book doesn't consider Malone's silence as a refusal, however. The article maintains, "It's common practice for those connected to projects of this size to either evade, or even to lie outright, in the early stages."
The movie has not wrapped up filming yet, with the cast and crew are apparently heading to New Mexico after originally planning to shoot in Morocco, but production moved the set elsewhere because of the Ebola virus scare.
Another rumor related to the comic book heroes is that the movie's Lex Luthor actor Jesse Eisenberg will be reprising his role but in a different movie, shares The Mirror. Eisenberg is expected to play Luthor in "Suicide Squad," a movie about a group of supervillains "recruited for dangerous missions." If confirmed, Eisenberg will be joining Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Ryan Gosling, and Margot Robbie. Eisenberg is still in talks to appear for "Suicide Squad" while he is set to appear in "Now You See Me 2" and in a possible role in "Arms & The Dudes."
