Fans of the hit TV show "The Mentalist" will be glad to be seeing their much awaited Season 7 premiere early during 2015 and much of the case solving will involve the Lisbon brothers Jimmy (played by Rob Belushi) and Stan (played by Derek Phillips). According to news from BreatheCast, a case that involves the death of a high profile lawyer will be getting Jimmy in the interrogation room and his brother Stan will also be experiencing the same fate.
The said episode has been revealed by Belushi to have already been filmed by the cast and crew this October. Aside from Belushi his fellow cast mate Tim Kang (who plays Kimball Cho) has also been candid with his thoughts and sentiments about the upcoming Season 7 of "The Mentalist" even heading down to his Twitter page about how he feels about the new season that will be out next year.
News from International Business Times states that about a month ago Kang tweeted, "This is our 7th and final season. Looking at the scripts now, it's so fun and such a great season!", indeed a much more open revelation compared to his co-star Simon Baker (who plays Patrick James).
It seems that the silence from Baker has been due to the circulating rumors that "The Mentalist" show creator Brunno Heller has been gaining a lot of rave reviews for his other TV show "Gotham". According to Hallels, Heller is said to be letting go of "The Mentalist" to concentrate his energies more on "Gotham".
Although the reports have not been truly confirmed, Heller has been quoted to address Season 7 of "The Mentalist" to be an "encore" leaving a lot of speculation that the show may be well on its way to a finale. The issue is even more magnified with the exceptional silence and lack of reaction from Simon Baker about all of the Season 7 speculations.
