2NE1 Updates: Dara and CL rumored to be fighting; Female idol group performs at Alexander Wang event

Fresh from disbandment rumors, YG's female idol group is once again facing new rumors. This time, fans and observers note that it seems that CL and Dara are not okay with each other.

2NE1 performed at the Alexander Wang X H&M launch party on November 4. The event, which was held in Shanghai, China seemed ended well for the globally famous group. But not until videos of the performances were spread online.

Shortly after the videos were uploaded, fans noticed what it seemed to be signs that there is a rift between CL and Dara, KpopStars reports.

YouTube user xDalu commented, "What's up with CL not dancing the choreography. And so distant with Dara. Hope they're okay."

Marlene Flores commented, "It seriously looks like Dara is avoiding CL. I'm not crazy because I saw it throughout the whole video, not just once or twice. Especially in the last part Dara's smile fell when CL passed by and then it came back."

Fans were quick to connect these rumors to recent reports that CL will debuting in the United States next year. The 2NE1 leader and rapper will be working with famous talent manager Scooter Braun.

During the Shanghai event, the girls performed some of the well-loved hits such as "I Am the Best," "Come Back Home" and "Gotta Be You."

"I hope everyone in China enjoys it," said the American designer on his new collection. "I have been seeing the advertisements all over town. I'm really excited to bring the event here and I hope everyone has a great time tonight," he added.

The attendance of the female idol group in the event came as a surprise to fans because YG Entertainment previously stated that the group will be abstaining from attending year-end events as member Park Bom is still reflecting. The 2NE1 member was involved in malicious controversies involving smuggling of illegal drugs earlier this year, Hello Kpop reports.
