"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Star Lisa Vanderpump Slapped in New Season 5 Preview- But By Who?

By

The next season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is nearly upon us, and while it hasn't technically premiered yet, that isn't stopping the "Real Housewives" cast from getting into a massive fuss and starting some drama.

That's kind of their job, anyway.

It all sparked from a new trailer for the upcoming fifth season, which showed a number of new details. Drinking. Crying. Screaming. And, according to Enstars, Lisa Vanderpump getting slapped in the face by a mystery assailant. Presumably a cast mate, but you never know.

US Magazine reached out to Vanderpump to find out what she thought of the slap, and the trailer for the slap, and the reaction to the slap.

"I mean, obviously that's the point of a trailer," Vanderpump explained. "To say 'watch the season and take the moments,' but there were many moments."

"I don't know how they made that trailer, actually, because there were so many good moments," the reality diva later added. "There were a couple 'oh my God!' moments that changed the dynamic. I think that's what a trailer is: Bam, that happened, and bam! This happens and it changes the dynamic in the group."

But according to Christian Post, Vanderpump might actually be leaving "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Not for the meeting of her face and someone else's hand, but because she's making a killing in the restaurant business right now, and is heading up her own solo reality show.

It's a heavy workload for a restauranteur/reality star/home decor mogul. And if one of those particular jobs involves getting slapped in the face on national television, maybe that's the one that Vanderpump says goodbye to, when her schedule gets too cramped.

We'll have to wait and see.
