TUSTIN, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 18, 2014) - The Association for Corporate Growth Orange County Chapter (ACG OC) announced today the annual Southern California Capital Summit, highlighted by the first public release of the executive summary results from Pepperdine University's National Private Capital Markets Project, on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 5:00 PM at the Irvine Marriott Hotel. A panel of capital market experts will be on hand to comment on the survey findings, presented by Pepperdine University professor Dr. Craig Everett.
The Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project surveys 12 capital market segments to understand the latest trends, best practices and changing behaviors of capital providers including asset based lenders, cash flow lenders, mezzanine funds, angel funds, venture capital funds, private equity groups, factoring companies as well as investment bankers and business owners.
"The Southern California Capital Summit is an insightful and compelling event that allows ACG members and guests the opportunity to learn where professional investors are allocating their capital," ACG-OC President Michael Issa, principal at GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group LLC, said. "This event is essential for financial professionals who seek a deeper understanding of how the capital markets function and where future opportunities exist."
Event Organizer, Thomas Hopper, a principal with the Nassau Group at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, echoed Issa's comments. "The fact that Pepperdine University Professor and Director of Private Capital Markets Project, Dr. Everett has chosen this summit to release a survey on national market trends speaks volumes about the event and the region's growth and relevance in the financial/M&A field," said Hopper.
Southern California's most influential forum on the demand and deployment of private capital for corporate growth will feature a keynote and executive panel discussion. The summit will also feature a series of sector-specific panel discussions that will explore five of Southern California's most dynamic business sectors: Apparel; Healthcare; Aerospace and Defense; Technology; and Real Estate.
The event is co-sponsored by BrownRudnick and McGladrey LLP. The ACG monthly evening event will also feature open networking with Orange County's leading deal makers and service providers, as well as cocktails and appetizers.
The ACG OC Southern California Expo costs $95 to pre-registered members as well as to Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project survey participants and $145 for non-members. For registration information, please register on-line at www.acg.org/occ (credit card required).
