Cancelled no more? Netflix in negotiations with 'Longmire' producer, Warner Horizon to air Season 4?

By

A&E cancelled their show "Longmire" and fans are still wishing that it finds a new network to air back again. According to Christian Post, there are rumors circulating that the show just might be in another channel for the people to watch again. Netflix might be the one who will take over its airing as there are reports about a negotiation going on between "Longmire's" parent company and Netflix.

It would be a waste to just let it go when the series even attracted five million viewers when they wrapped up the third season, making it the most-watched original series of all time on A&E.

The news of it being cancelled after a successful run has shocked all its fans. The fourth season might be aired via Netflix since a negotiation is said to be ongoing, however there is still no assurance that a final deal will be made.

Deadline wrote that in case the deal is sealed, "Longmire" would start production hopefully by March of next year. Meanwhile, Warner Horizon is doing all it can to find the show a new home. The company brought up a detailed pitch about the show's success when it comes to its performance and gaining a lot of followers along with the producers' plans for its new season. Netflix is a viable place for the show to stream back and be seen by its viewers because they already gained the rights from the show's past seasons.

Epoch Times reported that a campaign to get the show back on air was even launched. The campaign involves gathering signatures from fans to encourage other networks to pick the show up. The campaign has gathered about 12, 500 signatures since it started, so it looks like there is a huge possibility that other networks might even bid for it. There are lots of positive responses from the show so fans don't have to worry about its return.
