There's a lot of drama swirling around "Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood" right now.
In the latest episode (according to The Boom Box), Yung Berg and Masika were all coupley and happy when they attended an all-white birthday party. But in the news, things aren't so nice.
Berg has been accused of physically abusing Masika, but now no one's really sure if the alleged abuse occurred or not. According to Wet Paint, Berg was arrested just after shooting the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" reunion show, having allegedly assaulted Masika in their hotel room.
But now she's saying that wasn't the case. Here's the quote from Masika in Wet Paint, about the assault that may or may not have occurred.
"I feel like the only abuse issue that he has is alcohol abuse. I do feel like he has a drinking issue and that's the issue at this time," said Masika. "It was not an abusive situation."
Later, she elaborated: "He did not attack me; he did not knock me out. He did not beat me up, none of that happened," later adding, "He was very drunk. It was to the point where he didn't really know his bearings."
"My focus right now is him being better. The focus should not be on us being a couple right now," she said. "It's best that we don't communicate as we were."
The "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star ended with, "He needs to be focused on getting these charges dropped and getting the drinking under control."
Accordin to Crossmap, Yung Berg has since been on Instagram, alleging that what Masika's saying is, in fact the truth.
So maybe these assault charges are just being blown out of proportion.
