As part of the promotions for their recently released single "Good Boy," G-Dragon and Taeyang recently had a news conference in Seoul, which was attended by various media outlets.

G-Dragon, who is the leader of YG Entertainment's idol group Big Bang, talked about the timeline of the group's highly anticipated album. He confirmed speculations that the five-member group will not have their comeback this year.

According to Enews, which provided the responses of the two Big Bang members during the media conference, G-Dragon revealed that they will definitely make a comeback next year.

"I think the Big Bang album will be postponed until next year," said GD.

G-Dragon also talked about the concerns of their fans, who expected that a new album will be released this year following his previous announcement. He did not reveal an exact date of release this time, saying, "I′ve been talking about the comeback since last year, and because of what I said, I′ve been getting cursed at, so I can′t exactly say when it′ll be," according to Enews.

According to Kpop Herald, the YG artist added that they are working on their comeback album. "We're really concentrating on the next album. It might be just an excuse, but I can't make songs as fast as I used to ... Therefore, I am struggling to find a way and I'm so eager to meet our fans with the new album more than anyone," G-Dragon said.

"We want to make good songs. However, it takes time to make those good songs. If you give us more time, we will compensate you for the time (you've waited) by showing the good quality of the new album. We want to stage our comeback as soon as possible," he said.

"The next album is important to us as well, so we're putting more efforts into it," he added, according to Kpop Herald.

G-Dragon and Taeyang released "Good Boy," which is their first track as the duo GD x Taeyang, on November 21. Part of YG Entertainment's hip hop project, it was received positively by fans. It ranked high on major local music charts and its MV already has over 6 million views on YouTube.

On November 24, the making film of the new track was also released, according to Hello Kpop. "Good Boy" MV was directed by famous director Collin Trilley who said the concept revolved around having fun and being energetic.
