Aesthetics, Dimension and Display:
Fuse Joplin has made a good comparison on the overall Design and Display of the two smart phones.Samsung's Grand Prime is only available in white and it has a plastic glossy shell with a metallic finish in its plastic frame. It is 144.8x72.1x8.6mm. in dimension and weighing 156 grams. Even though it only has a 5-inch display it can support a 540x960 pixel resolution with a 200ppi pixel density. It has a relatively good screen for its price range.
The Nokia Lumia 730 has the same glossy back but it has a flat side on its top and bottom. Its left and right sides are curved. It is lighter compared to the Grand Prime and its dimension is 134.7x68.5x8.7mm. It has a smaller display compared to Grand Prime but its 4.6 inches can support a 720x1280 pixel resolution with a 316ppi. It is considered by Fuse Joplin to be more durable since it has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 in its front panel.
Hardware and Software:
Grand Prime and Nokia Lumia 730 packs almost the same hardware. Prime has a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7, Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 while Lumia 730 has a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400. They both have Adreno 305 in their GPU and the same amount of 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory. Lumia's only edge is its External Memory which can be expanded up to 128GB while Prime can only accommodate 32 GB expansion. Camera:
Both smartphones offer almost the same feature in their cameras. Nokia Lumia 730 has a slightly lower rear facing camera of 6.7 megapixels compared to the 8.0 megapixels of Samsung Grand Prime. However, Lumia 730's camera has a Carl Zeiss Optics which can take full HD resolution videos. Kpopstarz further reports that both smartphones have 5 megapixels front cameras.
