The Top 5 contestants of "The Voice" USA Season 7 share the songs they want to sing if "The Voice" has a holiday album; Fans and critics not happy with how judges/coaches score the competition

Five contestants remain in "The Voice" USA Season 7, and the competition is getting harder. But the top 5 contestants took time off and gave Zap2it an exclusive interview on what songs would they sing for the holidays if given the chance.

In the article, the remaining contestants gave out which songs they'd want to sing if given the chance to make a "The Voice" holiday album.

Damien chose to go the classy route with "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" and here is Frank Sinatra's version on YouTube. Chris Jamison on the other hand, went for a more solemn song with "Silent Night" and here is Beyonce's version on YouTube.

Matt McAndrew specifically wanted to do Eliv Presley's version of "Blue Christmas" which you can see on YouTube as well. Craig Wayne Boyd picked "I'll Be Home for Christmas" as his holiday song choice and here is Bill Cosby's version. Taylor John Williams wanted to sing "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" which is very funny and festive at the same time.

The results were shocking as always and it tends to be this way when any competition gets closer and closer to the end. The fans and coaches were treated to amazing songs and performances last week and it was hard to choose which of the contestants were going home and which ones were going to stay.

First one to be saved was Matt McAndrew, then Damien, and Taylor John William. Then Craig Wayne Boyd was saved next, leaving the other contestants to sing one more song before announcing the last contestant to be safe from elimination. As we know, Chris Jamison was saved and the rest were sent home packing.

That being said many fans and critics are already berating the coaches saying that they don't know how to properly judge this competition. One example is Lindy West writing a piece on Cosmopolitan about the recent results of "The Voice" Season 7 stating that the "Elimination Night Brings Out the Worst in the Judges".

West goes on and states "incomplete sampler of nonsense" that the judges/coaches have said during the elimination night last Tuesday.
