Rihanna 'R8' Album Update: ‘Diamonds’ singer to perform huge concerts in UK; Rumors about the latest album continue

By

Reports about Rihanna's alleged eighth studio album release continue to heat up and only adds to fans' excitement is her announcement of her UK gigs-and two of these huge concerts will happen at the Wembley Stadium, Fashion 'n Style reported.

In a report by Sun, the "Diamonds" singer is set to invade the UK with a series of huge concerts at Wembley Stadium and then to neighboring countries as part of her upcoming European tour, Gigwise reported. A source confirmed to the publication, "Rihanna is plotting a huge comeback. So far she has two shows at Wembley pencilled in as well as other stadiums across Europe."

Recently, reports about the December release of her 8th album set social media into a rave, but the excitement started to dwindle as the singer denied the rumors. However, this has gone on and off and probably the pre-order on Play.com strengthened the speculation that the album will be released this Christmas season although some have become skeptical that this will happen since there is no official confirmation.

Recently, she denied media reports about her new album, wrote Gigwise. The rumor was first sparked by DJ Skee exclusive news on Rihanna's new album allegedly entitled "R8." "That project is a lot closer than anyone realized, including her own record label," he promised. "She's trying to put out a project to capitalize off the fourth quarter."

The singer quickly rebutted the unfounded report through her twitter. "NOBODY IS TUNING IN TO LISTEN TO YOUR F---ERY!!!!" before telling fans, "ANY news about #R8 will be delivered directly from me!!!!"

Rihanna recently told the NY Times, "I can't give you any hints of when it will drop. It's going to be great, that's all I'm going to tell you and I'm excited about it. I try to battle myself and outdo everything I've done and that's been the hardest thing to do. You start overthinking things at times."
