It seems like Austin Mahone has another achievement to add to his list of accomplishments in 2014. The 18-year old pop sensation has released his new book, "Austin Mahone: Just How it Happened:My Official Story" last December 9.
The teen idol has dedicated the book to his mother, Michele Mahone. "This book is dedicated to my mom, who has sacrificed so much for me. You're an amazing role model, and I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for you. Words can't express how much I love you. Thanks for everything." Mahone wrote on the dedication page.
According to Mahone's book representative, the pop idol has three book signings scheduled with two being in New York City and the other one in the Chicago suburb in Naperville. The book signings are open to the public. In order to attend the event, the represntative said, fans are required to purchase a copy of the singer's book.
My San Antonio reported that Mahone's book representative further stated that the book will be priced at $21. The 224-page book, which comes with a free commemorative poster documents the pop singer's rise from a ordinary youngster growing up in La Vernia and San Antonio to a MTV Video Music Awards "Artist to Watch" winner. Mahone even headlined his own tour over the summer. According to the official Austin Mahone website, the Freeman Coliseum tour stop in July drew 7,000 fans.
According to Just Jared Jr., Mahone is apparently overwhelmed by his success, despite being relatively new to the music industry. "I mean, I've definitely made mistakes, but I feel like I wouldn't really do anything over," the singer said in an interview with "Today." "I feel like everything happens for a reason and I feel like everything that's happened has lead up to the point where I am today."
Austin Mahone currently has a huge fan following, with over 7.5 million followers on Twitter. His second EP, "The Secret" made its debut as No. 5 in the Billboard Albums Chart. Stay tuned for more latest updates!
