'Duck Dynasty' star Phil Robertson gets teary-eyed over Christmas gift for family friend; What does Miss Kay's reaction to the emotional episode?

It seems like the spirit of holiday cheer and goodwill towards fellowmen is alive and well.

In the Christmas special of 'Duck Dynasty', the Robertsons are out to break the racial divide and help out an old family friend from their church. The main storyline of the episode was the Robertsons proving that the integral aspects of their lives center around two things-family and faith.

When it was time to sit down and exchange gifts, Willie Robertson made an announcement that they would be giving an old family friend a home for Christmas this year. The episode entitled, "Home for the Holidays" aired Wednesday night and created a touching storyline towards the hearts of viewers everywhere.

According to TVOM, the old family friend [Mrs. Lewis] had recently fallen on hard times, and the family knew her for "a good 40 years." The Duck Commander family was quick to go on board with the Christmas project. With the help of company advertising sponsor, Clayton Homes the family was able to present Mrs. Lewis and her son with a brand new home for the holidays.

In the episode, Phil Robertson got a little emotional when he tried to say a prayer to welcome Mrs. Lewis into her new home. The reality star also wanted to thank God for their dear friend. [Phil] Robertson began to tear up along with his wife, Miss Kay.

The episode also featured the family's quirky moments that brought in the natural magic of their humor. Willie decided to record a Christmas album with the kids, while Si Robertson decided that he wasn't a fan of Willie's singing, so he decided to use a little "auto-tune" help.

This was certainly an early Christmas gift for fans everywhere.
