By

It's the winter premiere preview that has brought many fans to tears on "The Fosters". There will be upcoming episodes of more emotional despair and character dramas. What do we know so far about the upcoming premiere?

In the "Over/Under" preview episode, Callie Jacob (Maia Mitchell) finds herself to be caught up in the drama of the Quinns taking a genuine interest in having her as a part of the family. The preview shows Robert Quinn (Kerr Smith) deciding to take custody of Callie. While Callie struggles with the reality of Robert's sudden change of heart, audiences beg to question why Robert has decided to take custody of Callie. Could this be Robert's way of making up with the regrets of the past involving Callie's mother? Could this be Robert's way of clinging to his only daughter with Sophia's possible suicide attempt?

It is also revealed that Brandon (David Lambert) will make hearts break when he utters, "We don't always get to have our one true love." to Callie. We are sure the bad news will make Callie devastated. In the Foster home, we find Steff and Lena having to confront their differences as they have to deal with different familial issues. It seems like Lena decided to quit her job all off a sudden, and has to deal with the level-headed Steff.

Jesus will also make a startling discovery when he secretly attends Ana's AA meeting. The Fosters Winter premiere is set to be a monumental one given the preview. It seems like the families are slowly ironing out whatever issues they would seem to have.It will be a major tear-fest for sure.
