"American Horror Story" Season 4 "Freak Show" has just aired its Episode 10 as their winter finale for this Season. The hit Fox TV show will return on January 2015 with Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, joining the show.
As early as October, the series co-creator Ryan Murphy has announced that Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, will join the cast of "American Horror Story" according to Game N Guide. Harris will appear on the Freak Show in Episode 11 and 12 while Burtka will later appear on Episode 13.
Neil Patrick Harris will be playing a role of a "chameleon salesman" which is appropriate considering that Season 4 of the hit series is all about what society treats as oddities. David Burtka's character is yet to be confirmed and he is set to appear in a more shocking storyline together with Jessica Lange's character, Elsa Mars.
Harris has just finished filming his scene in the upcoming Episode and from the looks of things he is pretty much left in shock. He tweeted "Just finished filming my last scene for American Horror Story. I need to take a shower. Wash off all this horror."
According to Christian Post, Ryan Murphy earlier said that that Neil Patrick Harris's role might be related with magic and mysticism.
"Yeah I spoke to Neil last week. He sort of had an idea of what he wanted to do, and I had an idea that he liked," According to Murphy in his interview with Entertainment Weekly last October. He added that "So I'm going to call him next week. If I can make it work, it will be something that shoots at the end. He's very interested in the show and obviously Neil is a magician and likes all that magic stuff. So he's fascinated with that. We're trying to make it work. I'm optimistic,"
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" will be back on air with its Episode 11 this coming January 7 and fans can expect Neil Patrick Harris and his husband David Burtka to shock them as the finale of the show approaches.
