Young women sobbing over Justin Bieber is nothing new.
But in most cases, the women lost in their Bieber-based emotions aren't celebrities themselves.
This case is different- Us Weekly reports that Selena Gomez was recently making a scene and crying over Bieber. Apparently, Gomez was at Taylor Swift's massive birthday celebration- where celebrities like Beyonce, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake hung out, enjoyed a few drinks and ate some pizza and sushi.
But Gomez couldn't enjoy the festivities- she was too broken up over her Bieber.
According to one of Us Weekly's sources, Gomez apparently screamed "No one understands me! My boyfriend doesn't even understand me," in the middle of the party. After which, the celebrity guests just stood in shocked silence and stared at her, not really knowing what to do with that particular outburst (yeah, we probably would have done the same).
Cosmopolitan adds that Gomez and Swift's friendship is on the rocks as it is- and that this party outburst may be the last straw in their friendship.
But the story doesn't end there- apparently, Bieber feels just as emotional about Gomez as Gomez is about Bieber. A source in Hollywood Life has revealed that Bieber would have loved to attend the party with Gomez- he just wasn't invited.
"He [Justin] was bummed when he heard who went, he feels like he really should have been there," says Hollywood Life's source.
"He doesn't have a problem with Taylor, but he knows she just doesn't get him. And for that reason he thinks Taylor doesn't get Justin and Selena as a couple. It's frustrating for him and frustrating that Taylor didn't include him considering how close she is to Selena."
Well, there you have it. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are just a couple of lovesick teenagers. Even if they're no longer teenagers.
