Draco Malfoy story released on Pottermore; JK Rowling confused on villain's sexy appeal to girls; Is actor Tom Felton trying to get girls on Tinder?

A new literary piece has been published on Pottermore, and it's all about the magical universe's favorite conflicted villain.

On December 22nd, acclaimed author JK Rowling published a new story in time for her "12 Days of Christmas" promo. The latest entry, Hollywood Life reported, is about the backstory of Draco Malfoy. Draco Malfoy, who has been played brilliantly by British actor Tom Felton in the cinematic franchise, is Harry's nemesis until the Dark Lord aka Voldemort faces him toward the end of the boys' school term at magical school Hogwarts.

Rowling's new entry provided new information that made up how readers and moviegoers alike know Draco. She also detailed how at first, Draco's family, who are among the ancient wizarding families, had first regarded "The Boy Who Lived" as a "better Voldemort" until Harry showed his true affiliations.

Rowling write, "Draco was raised in an atmosphere of regret that the Dark Lord has not succeeded in taking command of the wizarding community."

As what appeared to be a side note, Rowling talked about her confusion on why Draco has so many girl fans despite the fact that he is a villain. The Telegraph quoted the author, who wrote, "Although I do not discount the appeal of Tom Felton, who plays Draco brilliantly in the films and, ironically, is about the nicest person you could meet. [Although] girls are very apt to romanticize [the] dark glamour of the anti-hero", [I have to tell you] rather severely, that Draco was not concealing a heart of gold under all that sneering and prejudice and that no, he and Harry were not destined to end up best friends."

Draco's attraction to girls seemed to be a cue to a suspicious Tinder member, who used Felton's mugshot as Draco on the dating app, Metro UK observed. The site posted several screenshots of an icky exchange between "Draco" and another Tinder member who uses Harry Potter puns. But to the true Felton fans, knowing the fact that the Tinder version listed himself as 34 years old is a relief, considering that the actor is only 27 years old.
