The sequel for the 'Pitch Perfect' film is set to grace the silver screen soon. The Hollywood musical comedy film captured the hearts of young and old alike in its last sequel. This year, fans of the beloved movie can expect their favorite characters to return to the big screen to play unforgettable roles.
These roles have both inspired and motivated viewers to be the best that they can be through the years. And, now, viewers who have been touched by the previous 2012 version of the film will be moved once again!
An article in Youth Health Mag revealed that 'Pitch Perfect 2' has been confirmed for a May 15, 2015 release date. Meanwhile, the director, Elizabeth Banks, announced hints for the trailer plot. Banks was quoted, saying, "The girls are now graduating seniors. They're coming to the end of their time as Bellas and figuring out how to sort of leave the nest and the comfort of each other's friendship and figure out what they're going to do with the rest of their lives."
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Anna Kendrick will be returning as Beca in the sequel. Other actresses that will be returning to Pitch Perfect's sequel are Alexis Knapp, Skylar Astin, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Adam DeVine and Rebel Wilson.
Rebel Wilson is allegedly going to shine in 'Pitch Perfect 2' as singing sensation, Fat Amy, as what we have reported before. Word has it that the song Fat Amy will be singing is going to be an "old classic."
Wilson admitted that it was a pleasure playing the role of Fat Amy. By playing this character, Wilson was able to be just "herself."
