"Winds of Winter" might not just be released this year and there are way too many reasons for George R.R. Martin to think deeper. Recently, there have been bunch of predictions and theories about the upcoming novel. Here is what we know so far:
Somebody closest to George R.R. Martin -- Jane Johnson, his editor -- tweeted, saying, "It's not in our 2015 publishing schedule as it stands - I know no more than that at the moment." Meantime, the sparks of rumors of the next event become more vivid, and the plot might just be spilled by a fan from Westeros forum.
There have been theories of Littlefinger being an ally of Aegon. Despite the fact that this may still be questionable, there is a reason for everyone to see Littlefinger becoming a major character, for he continued to betray Cersei Lannister.
Moreover, as long as Littlefinger focuses on his realization that Aegon is Varys' creature, there is no doubt that he would continue his goal to alter the scenario -- where he uses Daenerys Targaryen as a support, get the sympathy of the Tyrells, and the nation around him. According to the speculations, he is most likely to bring the power until the end of 'A Dream of Spring'. Sansa Stark, however, is hypothesized to kill him.
Reportedly on Entertainment Weekly, George R.R. Martin has already spilled the beans of Tyrion Lannister and Dany's pairing. "They both have quite large roles to play here. Tyrion has decided that he actually would like to live, for one thing, which he wasn't entirely sure of during the last book, and he's now working toward that end-if he can survive the battle that's breaking out all around him. And Dany has embraced her heritage as a Targaryen and embraced the Targaryen words. So they're both coming home," he disclosed.
If this so happens then Tyrion and Littlefinger, prior to his death, will most likely become the best of both worlds.
Meanwhile, it was already speculated that 'The Winds of Winter' ignites the readers with 2 massive battles -- Winterfell and Slaver's Bay.
"The Winds of Winter" would not set a release date this year. If 2016 or 2017 publication is conclusive, this novel will fire things way more intense. Are you excited of how George R.R. Martin wrote the plot? Share your predictions below.
