Beyonce has people talking, and it's not because of a new album or tour. Instead, it's about an Instagram photo the singer posted over the weekends, which people are interpreting to mean that she is announcing her pregnancy. However, Michelle Williams, formerly of Destiny's Child, quickly said that there is no truth to it.
Reportedly, Beyonce's Instagram post showed her and husband Jay-Z covered in sand, with the female performer's stomach looking "round and large." This led to Hollywood Life speculating that those who covered the singer with sand were "working around her pregnant body."
Currently, Beyonce has a daughter with Jay-Z, Blue Ivy, who just celebrated her birthday on January 7. Beyonce's photo follows after their vacation in Cambodia and Thailand, Mercury News reports.
Despite not receiving confirmation about the rumor from Beyonce's representatives, the article mentions Beyonce being good with "big pregnancy announcements."
"After posting several photos to Instagram suggesting she was pregnant, she stripped off her blazer at the end of her performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards to show off her baby bump," Mercury News mentions.
Meantime, reports having Beyonce seen on different locations and looking pregnant, complete with alleged photo evidence including where Jay-z's hands are resting on Beyonce's lower abdomen, or Jay-z's arm wrapped around Beyonce while the mother-of-one covers her supposed baby bump. Jay-Z has also been mentioned to have rapped about Beyonce being pregnant with baby No. 2.
However, this doesn't guarantee that Beyonce has news to share about a possible addition to their family. In fact, Us Magazine reports Michelle Williams dispelling the rumors on "The View" this January 12. Williams explains: "If you look at the picture, the baby bump is like where her knees probably really are."
While the rumors are apparently untrue, the magazine's insider says that Beyonce is prepping for another baby, starting with lightening up her work load. According to the insider, Beyonce and Jay-Z want to give Blue Ivy a sibling that is "not too far apart in age."
