'Glee' Season 6 Premiere, Spoilers: Episode 1 features lady kisses, proposals; Rachel Berry and other casts all matured grown-ups

By

The season six premiere of Glee made its debut on January 9, 2015, and it certainly was a welcome sight to see after the show's extra long hiatus. Fans of the show would expect the upcoming episodes to be ridden with emotions as their favorite characters learn to deal with growing up, as well as wrestling with old enemies.

In a report with Celebeat, the series kicked off with Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry in the series, singing her own version of 'Let it Go' from Disney's mega-hit, 'Frozen'. Fans who have followed the series from season one would note a lot of changes, especially in each character's maturity. For instance, Rachel Berry's show tanked, and now she is back in Lima, Ohio. No longer trying to be the diva that she was, she goes back to McKinley High and makes it her mission to take back 'New Directions' from Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch).

Another notable character change is from Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) has broken up with long time partner Blaine (Darren Criss). The former Warbler has since gotten together with former bully, Dave Karofsky. In previous episodes, the former couple had attended couple's counseling.

According to a sneak peek, this Friday's episode entitled "Jagged Little Tapestry" will feature adorable moments between the coosome twosome Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Morris). The sweet and cute couple have been sharing late night dates, as well as lady kisses. This is also the episode where Santana proposes to Brittany. Fans should be ready with the tissues as this would be an emotional episode.

The latest episode of Glee premieres on Friday at 8pm on Fox.

What do you think of the characters dealing with adult issues? Are you excited for Brittana? Are you happy for the upcoming proposal? Leave your thoughts below.
