LG G Flex 2 Curve Phablet to Beat Predecessor; Manageable Sleek Design and Speed Among Smartphone's Top Guns

By

A year after the release of it's newest "phablet," LG makes minor modifications that would provide a major leapfrog for their revolutionary curved smartphone. In a company brief on Jan. 05, LG unveiled the new G Flex 2 smartphone at the 2015 International CES held in Las Vegas. The latest model has kept the original curve design, however, packed with a much manageable 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display which is impressive compared to its predecessor.

Also, the "self-healing" feature of the G Flex got even better; if in the first G Flex the scratches on the back of the phone could "heal" in a few minutes, scratches on the back of the latest model could heal in roughly a few seconds. Add to that, the smartphone has the improved Gorilla Glass technology making its latest model more durable.

The LG G Flex 2 was not only about innovative design that would adjust to the smartphone user's needs, according to a report from Engadget. Speed was also one of the major highlights of the the latest "phablet," allowing users to access necessary tools instantly without the hassle of lagging time due to built-in apps that cram the smartphone to capacity.

Nonetheless LG did not stop with the improved features coupled with the original sleek design of the G Flex 2, lower prices compared to the first version are also seen to hit the shelves according to a report from Techtimes. Based on Amazon's Euro pre-order listing, if in the original version major telecom service providers have given a price premium on the 6-inch display, the latest version was reportedly tagged at a lower price.

Although there's still no definite release date issued for the U.S., the LG G Flex 2's likely anticipated UK release would be around February through telecom giant Vodafone.
