"The Last: Naruto the Movie" will be released in theaters this February. Viz Media and Eleven Arts will screen the blockbuster film in more than 20 major cities all throughout the U.S.
Viz Media will team up with Eleven Arts, a Los Angeles based film distributor, to feature the latest and most anticipated movie from the Naruto Shippuden Series. According to Anime News Network, "The Last: Naruto the Movie" will hit the theaters all over the United States starting on February 20, 2015. This will be a big event for the anime enthusiast and fans of the Naruto Manga.
More than 20 cities will be included in the premier of "The Last: Naruto the Movie" and it is expected that it will break the box-office record of the previous Naruto Movies. The film will run for approximately 112 minutes of Naruto action and it will be shown in its original Japanese Audio with English subtitles. Those who are lucky to get tickets and get a seat on the premier release of the movie will be able to receive an exclusive Naruto fim poster to commemorate this epic event.
Digital Journal reported that the plot for "The Last: Naruto the Movie" will revolve around a new villain, Toneri Otsutsuki. Toneri is a descendant of Kaguya, who was the final villain in the Naruto Manga. It was also reported that Toneri plans to punish the whole humanity for using chakra as their weapon during the Shinobi World Wars. Naruto Manga readers can easily see that while Madara, one of the main villains in the Manga, plans to use the moon in putting the world to sleep, Toneri will use it to crush the whole world.
Naruto and the members of Team 11 will take center stage as they attempt to stop Toneri from destroying the whole planet. Sasuke fans will also be delighted to hear that their favorite unsung hero will also take part in the action.
Viz Media and Eleven Arts has announced that the special US theatrical premier of "The Last: Naruto the Movie" will be limited only to several states. According to Crunchyroll this will the following states and corresponding theater:
