Chris Kyle’s Trial Update: Eddie Routh to Determine Fate on February; Movie ‘American Sniper’ to Affect Courts Decision

By

America was shocked when a famous sniper was killed nearly 2 years ago. Chris Kyle, considered to be one of the best snipers, was allegedly killed by Eddie Routh, a former US Marine, at a shooting range in Texas.

On February 2015, Routh will face the court for Kyle's case. It can be remembered that Routh admitted that he killed Kyle and his friend. According to a report, Routh's lawyers are claiming that he was experiencing a post - traumatic stress disorder. That may have caused him to kill Routh.

Routh's lawyer is also concerned about the effects of the movie 'American Sniper' to the trial. In the movie, the killing was not shown. However, a source revealed that the movie has a line that says he was killed by a veteran he was trying to help. The public has shown their increased anger against Kyle's killer. Routh's lawyer does not believe that a fair trial is going to happen.

Taya Kyle, the wife of the late sniper, has been receiving a lot of support for his husband after the release of the movie which was patterned on his life. She posted a long message on facebook thanking the supports and the author of the book. She also gave a message to her husband saying how much she misses him.

Meanwhile, Raymond, Routh's father, said in a report that his son would choose death penalty than to stay in jail forever. He said that he wrote letters to the Kyles and Littlefields and that he understands that the families would want justice However, he cannot explain to them that he wants justice for his son too.

Millions of people will definitely watch out for the decision on Chris Kyle's trial which will commence on February 11. Hopefully, the movie, 'American Sniper' would not affect the jury's decision and will stand on what is just and fair.
