Paulina Gretzky, Dustin Johnson Welcomes Baby Boy; Golfer Denies Cocaine, Drug-Related Reason for Time Off In PGA Tour

By

Paulina, the daughter of the hockey legend Wayne "The Great One" Gretzky, delivered her first child last Monday in Los Angeles, according to a statement released by his agent in Tuesday. The happy parents continue to keep the baby's name a secret even though the world is already dying to know. Dustin, on the other hand, tossed away the rumors that his leave of absence in the PGA Tour is because he has a drug addiction.

According to E! Online, Dustin said in the statement released, "Paulina and I are happy to announce the arrival of our baby boy, who was born in Los Angeles on Monday morning. Both Paulina and the baby are healthy, resting comfortably and in great spirits!

"We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received and plan to release further details in the coming days!" the golfer added. But despite the good news, the people can't help but worry about Dustin's recent leave of absence in the PGA.

'Cocaine is not the reason'

Golf.com stated that Dustin had failed three drug tests that's why he was suspended for six months in the PGA Tour. Fans can't help but link his recently-filed leave of absence to this issue. Why did he take a time off?

When asked about the cocaine issue, the eight-time PGA winner told Sports Illustrated, ""I did not have a problem. It's just something I'm not going to get into. I have issues. But that's not the issue." says FOX Sports.

In a statement from his management company, he said, "I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced by committing the time and resources necessary to improve my mental health, physical well-being and emotional foundation, I am confident that I will be better equipped to fulfill my potential and become a consistent champion."

Well, we do hope that Dustin will straighten out his life for good because he has his little one to look after to. Are you excited to have the PGA Tour champion back on the field?
