“Fargo” Season 2 Cast, Updates: Fans are Disappointed on Recent Episodes; Show Cancelled for 2015 after Winning the Best Mini-Series in the Golden Globes?

By

After almost a year of rumors that FX TV is cancelling the show Fargo, news of a Prequel for Season 2 just resurfaced and the network even shares a few details about what fans can look forward to in the next installment of the series.

Prequels has been a trend in the movies last 2014 and it seems like we'll be seeing television leaning into these kind of productions. Fargo Season 2 is said to be set on 1979, a far cry from the Fargo we have all learned to love during the Season 1. Being a blast from the past show, the cast for the new series will definitely be a different one this year. Ted Danson, Patrick Wilson and Nick Offerman will be part of the new cast of this award-winning series.

Fargo won bigtime in the last Golden Globe awards in the category Best TV Show/Mini-Series for 2014. That alone will definitely send producers to brew something new and proceed with the next season of the series.

Former main cast Martin Freeman is set for a new show this year as he becomes part of the Season 4 of Sherlock Holmes. This new project running around the action and crime theme is just perfect from Freeman's personality and acting prowess. His performance in the movie "The Hobbit" is also something the audience are very appreciative of.

Billy Bob Thornton won Best Actor for Fargo and is currently in the news for admitting that his lifelong dream is to bed a famous actress - Jennifer Anniston. Rumors are also spreading claiming that Thornton would have a series of concerts as he goes on tour this 2015. News that he'll be part of the "Cowboy Billionaire" movie is also surfacing. It seems like Bob is very busy even without Fargo under his belt this year.

Season 2 of Fargo is set to be back on screen this Fall 2015 on FX TV.
