Chris Brown and on-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran may be walking down the aisle soon as the revocation of Brown's probation for his assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna has apparently left him wanting to marry Tran.
Brown could go to jail for four years, Hollywood Life reports. This is after Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Brandlin revoked the probation given to the singer for his Rihanna assault case back in 2009. The probation has been revoked after the singer has been seen in the middle of two shootings in the last six months.
Brown's travel from San Jose to Los Angeles County was also without the approval of the court, adding reason for the revocation, says IB Times. According to the article, "Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos reportedly told the court that his office had mistakenly informed the 25-year-old singer that he could go to Northern California for his concert."
The formal hearing for Brown's case will be held on March 20, and if odds turn against his favor, he may be looking at four years in jail. This has apparently caused the singer to give some thought to marrying girlfriend Tran, reports say. The move to marry Tran is allegedly a way to make sure the model is "taken care of and in charge of his entire estate."
A source says, "He doesn't trust many people and his mother isn't really in a position to be in charge of all his stuff. He loves Karrueche, trusts her and wants her to be in control, should he have to go to prison."
While waiting for the formal hearing, the couple seems to be spending their time together, and in fact Brown had Tran in his music video for the song "Autumn Leaves."
Hollywood Life describes the music video: "Watch as Chris, dressed as a sword-wielding samurai, chases after his real-life leading lady amid the stunning scenery of Hawaii, and is rewarded with true love's kiss in the final moments."
Tran is joined by Kendrick Lamar in "Autumn Leaves," Mstarz says.
Before getting back together, Brown and Tran had a word war on social media with Brown accusing Tran of going on dates with Drake instead of visiting him in prison.
Brown's messages to Tran on Instagram were after a break-up. "We've got scars, some of them you gave me, some of them I've caused. That ride or die act we have been fooling the world with obviously ain't working," Brown said in a post that has already been deleted.
