'Empire' Spoiler Update: Jamal Lyon to show his darker side despite father's acceptance issue; Will Oprah Winfrey appear on the show?

The Empire series is slowly building its empire on television. This new musical program is something to watch out for. With its great cast and impeccable choice of music, this series will make drama and music lovers go addicted to their TV sets.

For those who don't know yet, Empire, reportedly revolves around a family that owns the Empire Entertainment. The patriarch of the family will decide which of his sons will rule over the company. Well, that's chaos!

I am sure that most of the viewers are already falling in love with Jamal Lyon's character. He is the most talented but his father is not really open about his son's gender preference. Source says that Jamal Lyon might also reveal his darker side sooner or later. There are also speculations that Oprah Winfrey might be seen in the show. The cast are mum about it. If it is real, then I am going to glue my eyes on our TV.

We should also look out for Cookie Lyon as she has a very intriguing life story. And I believe she will add drama to the whole series. She is the ex-wife of the music mogul, Lucious Lyon. Apparently, she served 17 years in prison. What can be her contribution to his sons? Will it be a motherly approach? Or is she no good at all?

One of Empire's previous episodes already made news. If you watched the scene where Lucious Lyon phoned US President Obama, then I couldn't blame you if you have reacted over it. The portrayal was so good, some believed that Lyon was really talking to someone from the other line. Come to think of it? How rich and famous can you get if you can have a direct line to the leader of United States. This show has really something new to offer.

Even if the series has been on TV for less than a month, the eyes of critics are very much interested to give their reviews. In a report, critics believe that the show has full of talents. While there are a lot of moving parts, some of them were not really successful, or shall we say not vital to the whole plot.

If that can be changed, that's going to be seen in the next episodes of Empire.
