On Thursday night, the episode will focus on April and Jackson's heart-wrenching storyline. In the last episode during the winter finale, the duo is faced with the challenge of bringing a baby into this world with osteogenesis imperfect, a disease that causes bones to become brittle. How could a child possibly live in this world with such an unfortunate fate?
In this week's installment of the series, "The Bed's Too Big Without You", Dr. Herman explains the ill-fated fate of Jackson and April's baby. It only has a chance of living for a couple of weeks after being born. Jackson is left to no choice but to deliver the bad news to his wife. They tried to work on adapting to the disease on their own way but ended up in tears during the winter finale.
