There is a good tingling sensation coming out of the screen from the sexual tension between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele's first clip of the Fifty Shades of Grey before it comes out in theaters less than two weeks from now.
The first full scene premiered on the Today show, where business mogul Grey, played by Jamie Dornan, asked assistance for a variety of do-it-yourself merchandises in a hardware shop from the virginal college student Steele, played by Dakota Johnson. Rope is one of them.
"Rope, tape, cable ties, you're the complete serial killer," Anastasia jokes in the sneak peek.
"Not today," Grey says with a grin, expecting what's in store.
The spoiler clip also shows the stars in an ultra-hot encounter before Steele is led to his racy hobby.
"Are you redecorating?" she asks innocently.
The raunchy film sees well-heeled entrepreneur Grey take collegian Steele on a cruise of sexual exploration.
Jamie Dornan plays a playboy role of a wealthy businessman while Dakota Johnson plays an innocent college student who goes on with her sexual discovery.
And viewers are set for a thing of beauty on the big screen after the film has passed the censor boards without any cuts.
The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has made director Sam Taylor-Johnson's take on EL James' so-called "mummy porn" an 18 certificate and has "passed uncut," as no one would have ever thought.
As critics would have it, Fifty Shades of Grey shows a "strong sex and nudity" and "the portrayal of erotic role play."
The 42 year-old Brit director even consulted a professional dominatrix before the filming to have a wider grasp of what's going on in the sexual world.
In a recent interview, she said: "The sex scenes are pretty intense, so I'm sure people are going to feel aroused - but I've seen them so many times that I tend to forget."
Fifty Shades of Grey is a film adaptation of E.L. James' best-selling novel released in 2011.
Fifty Shades of Grey is coming in US theaters on February 13.
