The Good Wife Spoilers: Alicia Will Get Laid, Kalinda Exits

By

Long wait has to end for fans of The Good Wife's sixth season as it returns to the silver screen with episode 13 on March 1 and there are more twists and changes-someone will depart from the show, someone will come back.

However, Alan Cumming seems to be divulging a bit of what is going to happen with Alicia Florrick, played by Juliana Margulies, in The Good Wife as the newest season begins.

"You know, I think she's going to get laid before the end of the season," Cumming told The Vulture with laugh. "But with whom, I'm not at liberty to say."

Florrick is also running for State's attorney and three men will enter her political world this season-- David Hyde Pierce, who plays as her political rival, Steven Pasquale as his campaign manager, and Matthew Good as Finn Polmar who becomes much closer to the good wife herself.

Cary Agos, played by Matt Czuchry, is jailed. Kalinda Sharma, commits federal offense for Cary. Becoming dependent on Kalinda, Diane Lockhart, played by Christine Baranski, unintentionally proposes before the court an incorrect evidence. These are some of the plot revealed.

Meanwhile, Oliver Platt is joining the show's casts in its upcoming episodes in season 6.

According to Yahoo!, Platt's character R.D. will be as "an intelligent, approachable, and politically conservative businessman who loves a civilized argument with a worthy opponent and has a passion for hunting."

In a report, Gary Cole whose character Kurt McVeigh made remarkable contribution in the series is set to take the spotlight one more time in the upcoming episodes of season 6.

Since tying the know with Diane Lockhart, played by Emmy award winner Christine Baranski, the ballistic master has been gone for quite some time and The Good Wife fans has not seen him in the newest season so far.

TV Line reported that McVeigh will be back as soon as the show returns on March 1.

In other TV development, Archie Panjabi, who plays the character of Kalinda Sharma, spoke about her departure from the series.

In an interview with Radio Times, she shared about why she felt she was done with the show and though it's about time to go.

"When I was kissing her, Allan Cubitt, the show's creator and director, had to say, 'Archie, can you hold back?' because Gillian was supposed to take me by complete surprise. I didn't think that I was very forward in [the scene], but obviously after a while a character starts to affect you," Panjabi said.

The "character" Panjabi was talking about was Kalinda Sharma from The Good Wife.

However, The Hollywood Reporter revealed last year that Panjabi's contract with CBS expires and she had no intention of renewing it. Panjabi will star in a new Fox drama to air next spring.

CBS has been delaying the comeback broadcast of the show due to awards show and some sports events in the current lineup of the TV station.
