The start of the Hollywood Week, American Idol Season 14 has not been easy for the 200 contestants with judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. The 200 contestants were made to form lines and perform in front of the judges. Those who will make it will eventually move to the next round.
Everybody was caught by surprise as one of the judges. Jennifer Lopez called 38 contestants to perform again. They called the 38 contestants and told them to give their best performance. Brooklyn's "Jax" was called first and sang a rendition of "Toxic" by Britney Spears. The next auditioneer called was Mark Andrew, followed by the 15 year old Emily Brooke. Adam Ezegelian of Brooklyn was called next, but has not given his best performance. This did not escape the judges' ears who have heard him sing before. However, Jennifer Lopez claims that it could be because of his nerves.
The judges called the contestants one after the other who were all very frantic about the whole situation. Their voice and singing was affected. Garret Mills was also called to perform again. During his audition, he gave the judges a run for their money when they knew that he was completely blind. Trevor Douglas was next in line and after seeing the contestant's poor performances he told the crowd that he hopes his guitar is in tune. Jennifer shouted and told Trevor that she wants to hear him sing again. Amber was the last to perform
After their performance, the Judges called the 38 singers who performed that day and told them why they were made to perform again. Jennifer then told them that they're all safe for now and nobody is out. Everybody went home as they have to go back the next morning to the theater for the second day of the Hollywood Week.
