Samsung’s sales of mobile devices have declined over the years since their release of the Samsung Galaxy S3. Not to mention, the Korean-based company is struggling to sell more of their products on the market. Because of this, the company’ option is to go back to square one in making their next flagship smartphone instead of redefining older Galaxy S phones. However, the thing about Samsung Galaxy S6 imitating iPhone 6 is the latest rumor around.
According to one IBT, the chassis of Samsung’s latest project looks a lot like that of the iPhone 6, as one of Samsung’s executive parts supplier said that the Galaxy S6 will come in two variants, which would be rounded and flat screens, and will have a metallic body.
If one would look at the iPhone 6 that was released September last year, the frame is indeed slim and has rounded corners. If the details given would go together as positive, one would probably be mistaken to tell the difference between the two. The only missing link on Samsung Galaxy S6 imitating iPhone 6 is the type of panel will it be using since the latter is equipped with sapphire coated panel.
Another feature that Samsung has eliminated on the Galaxy S6 is the removable battery. Instead, the device will have its power source attached inside. This is also one of the features that the iPhone is known for through the years.
While many of the features of the S6 are similar to those of Apple’s iPhone, Samsung said that they still have their own ideas on the project. Some of the rumors suggest that the Galaxy S6 could have its display curve on both sides, while others indicate that the curved edges could wrap all the way around the phone, giving the device a cylinder-like figure.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S6’s full specs on March 1 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. It has already teased the device’s curved silhouette. In the meantime, analysts believe design overhaul could help increase Samsung’s sales in the high-end smartphone market. Only then will the public could tell if the reports are true about Samsung Galaxy S6 imitating iPhone 6.
