The drama quest in The Young and the Restless episodes for February 9 to 13 continues as the storyline centers on key characters Hilary, Devon, Neil, Chelsea, Adam, Phyllis, Sage, Billy and a whole new exciting revelation straight from the executive producer's table.
Shocking surprises do not seem to come to an end for this week's episodes as the Emmy award-winning series still features possible exploit of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) following his encounter with his wife Hilary Curtis (Ann Turner) and son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) on bed right before his bare eyes.
Soap Central reported that Neil avoids confrontation with Hilary and Devon so he pretended to be blind. Last week, Neil miraculously regained his eyesight after his ophthalmologist dismissed him from experimental program, expecting slim chances for him to see. Neil lost his eyesight last year after being electrocuted.
How will Neil react after his pretension on blindness? In the rumor mill, things will surely get worse from here as he is reported to prep for retaliation schemes.
Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers Newman (Michelle Stafford) is moving out of Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) house and searches for a new place to live in. Nikki Newman (Melody Scott) finds a new friend.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Egan) finds out the real score between Sage Warner (Kelly Sullivan) and Adam Newman's (Michael Muhney) relationship.
Joe Clark (Scott Elrod) pursues strain between Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) and wife Avery Clark (Jessica Collins) as Dylan attempts reconciliation with Avery. According to a report, Joe's motive is to "provoke Dylan" and succeed in his plan. Avery ends up spending time with Joe and have a good trip down the memory lane together.
Elsewhere, Valentine's Day spirit is just around the corner of Genoa. However, couples are in the middle of some cool and hot drama all over. Summer Newman (Hunter Haley King) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) unexpectedly received a Valentine party at the Abbotts. Both come together to suffice curiosity for the party, taking Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Austin Travers (Matthew Atkinson) as dates.
It's a heat up discussion still for Lily Winters Ashby (Christel Khalil) and husband Cane (Daniel Goddard). Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) confronts wife Christine (Lauralee Bell) about her disgust towards Phyllis. Ashley Abbot (Eileen Davidson) gets into trouble with Victor. Nicholas 'Nick' Newman (Joshua Morrow) surprises wife Sharon (Sharon Case), but Hilary doubts its direction.
The Young and the Restless' executive producer Charles Pratt Jr. also spills juicy details to The Hollywood Reporter about what is coming up for Genoa City residents.
A cliff-hanging experience shall hit Neil's family as a plane crash accident will shock Genoa. Neil thinks it over and come up to something heavy. He goes through "emotional and complex journey."
Additionally, the city's business tycoons Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott going against one another once again.
"Victor and Jack will go head-to-head, and a mysterious new person will come to town," Pratt told The Hollywood Reporter. "A major storm is on the way, guaranteed to turn lives and loves upside down. Secrets will be revealed. And when a plane goes down, lives are rearranged."
