Fifty Shades of Grey is coming on theaters but a week before the premiere of the phenomenal book-turned-movie, fans are clamoring over the confirmation of the the movie's two sequels.
The announcement happened at the New York Zeigfeld Theatre for the fan screening of the movie last February 6, where the cast, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson along with director Sam Taylor-Johnson and author E.L. James as reported by MTV. The fans that attended the event started freaking out about the announcement that was brought to them.
Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed are the two sequels in the book trilogy of Fifty Shades that are now confirmed to be up and coming movies. According to Vanity Fair, this happened after Fifty Shades of Grey movie turned out to be the Fandango's fastest-selling advance-ticket R-rated movie in the company's history.
The trilogy stars actor, Jamie Dornan, who plays the controlling Christian Grey with unusual sexual cravings, along with him is actress, Dakota Johnson who plays the plucky college grad and the love interest of Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele.
The Fifty Shades Darker book was released last 2012, in which the story follows the couple reunites after a brief separation along with their engagement and Mrs. Robinson's first appearance. The third installment, Fifty Shades Freed, includes Christian and Anastasia's honeymoon, Ana's kidnapping and the birth of their son, Teddy.
As what The Verge reported, the book trilogy managed to sell more than Harry Potter. The erotiv trilogy has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide. Speculations about E.L. James also preparing for another book to publish which will be the fourth installment of Fifty Shades has not yet been confirmed by the author as well, reported by International Business Times.
Fifty Shades fans should also be thankful because Universal Studios as reported by Vanity Fair is not mimicking The Hunger Games and The Hobbit's strategy of splitting the final installment into two movies, which means no more waiting for a period of time to watch the continued finale.
The Fifty Shades Darker is expected to be released on 2016 and while waiting fans should be getting ticket for Fifty Shades of Grey, which will be hitting theaters this coming Valentines Day.
