It could really be the impending divorce with Nick Cannon that's distressing 'Butterfly' diva Mariah Carey so that she's been doing really horrible performances recently. Also, Nick Cannon seems to avoid anything related to his soon-to-be ex-wife-that's why when the DJ played her songs to serenade the guests at a charity bowling event, he was cringing and ordered his publicist to ask the DJ to stop playing the song. If this isn't bad enough, Nathan Morris of Boyz II Men believes that the songstress is to be blamed for her bad stage singing.
Nick Cannon attended Chris Paul's L.A. charity bowling tournament at the AMF Bowl-o-Drome in California. Then the DJ started playing some songs of Mariah Carey to serenade those attending the event. US Weekly thinks that her songs seemed to be like "sounds of nails scratching on chalkboard,' respectively.
"Nick looked irritated-he was cringing," an insider. "Nick had a publicist go over to the DJ and demand he stop playing Mariah's tracks."
The 34-year-old 'America's Got Talent' host could not seem handle the idea of hearing songs of his estranged wife while going through the turbulence of the divorce.
Meanwhile, 90's R&B star Nathan Morris of Boyz II Men thinks that whatever Carey is going through right now especially on her career is entirely her fault, reported Classicalite.
"We all have (as artist) had bad performances in our careers that's normal, no one is perfect. And some may have even stuck in a backing vocal or two on those bad vocal days.
"But when performances like this happen on a consistent basis they are no longer considered mistakes or accidents, they are now habits.
"We as artist at some point must take the blame when we put ourselves in uncompromising positions such as this."
