Cain is back!
Supernatural avid fans will have a taste of actor Timothy Omundson once again as he reprises his role as Cain in the upcoming episode of the hit American TV series. In the episode 14 of Supernatural Season 10 entitled The Executioner's Song confirms the comeback of Mark of Cain's former owner.
Recently, Supernatural executive producer Jeremy Carver spilled a hint of Cain's comeback in public.
Examiner reported that CW Network's release of synopsis last January 29 teases Cain's return. The 45-year-old American actor made his first appearance during the ninth season of the series.
His cameo role in the episode 11 entitled First Born happened when Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) joined forces to search for the First Blade capable to slay a Knight of Hell.
As the new synopsis for the latest episode suggests, Dean will face Cain again. With Dean are Castiel (Misha Collins) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) to deal with the return Cain.
In episode 10 entitled The Hunter Games Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) clued "the river ends at the source."
Carver told E!Online: "Dean's interaction with Cain will have a profound effect on Dean, how he thinks about the mark, and how he thinks about himself with the mark."
"It's a pretty wonderful episode and what it means for the season-long arc is pretty dramatic. We're excited about this episode," he added.
Cain's return is supposed to solve the mystery how to escape from the Mark of Cain which is Dean's dilemma. Apparently, Dean does not want to take a trip down the dark trail again.
Although not fully described, the forthcoming chapter agrees that things will not turn out right for the King of Hell because of his control-freak mother. Accordingly, Crowley and Rowena (Ruth Connell) will get more intimate. However, Rowena will allow her son gain it following Crowley's bond with Rowena to help the Winchester brothers.
Supernatural Season 10 airs on Tuesday nights at 9 pm on the CW Network. The episode featurering Cain's comeback is scheduled on February 17.
