Whether you are a fan of the latest Samsung smartphone design or not, you will surely find the latest leaked image renderings of the soon-to-be-unveiled Samsung S6 and S Edge design truly intriguing. Ever since Samsung came toe-to-toe with Apple in terms of smartphone design, it has always been an issue for some of which company thought about a particular design first.
In an article on Forbes, the design of the Samsung Galaxy S6 are very similar to those of Apple's iPhone 6. We still have to wait and see for the actual product to be officially announced on March 1, a day before the start of the Mobile World Congress Expo to be held in Barcelona on March 2-5, to see if the rumours that the two rival smartphones will look like one another become facts.
A post from AndroidPIT mentioned that images were found by CNET Korea of both Samsung smartphones covered in Verus cases. The S Edge seemed to sport double curved edges which can already be found in the Samsung Note Edge. Other design cues were the metal frames and backs of both phones. Another notable design are the large cameras found on both the S6 and the S edge.
An article from abplive.in stated that the size of the cameras were unrealistic and exaggerated while AndroidPIT thought that the S6 may indeed be waterproof and the S Edge water-resistant due to the increase in metal. Although a report from GSMArena said that we shouldn't take these rumours seriously, smartphone enthusiasts will surely get excited to know that the S6 smartphone is also rumoured to be equipped with an Android 5.0 Lollipop and an eight core processor according to Trusted Reviews making the S6 a very powerful smartphone to come out on the market.
These rumours will surely make the Samsung smartphone fans sit on the edge of their seats because if these are confirmed and turn out to be true then the it will be an amazing smartphone indeed and it will simply tell us that Samsung does keep its promises.
