Taylor Swift and DJ Diplo seemed to have put their differences aside and have appeared to have called a "truce" to their blood feud- for now it seems. The strange pair were seen cozying up to each other at The Grammys after party.
T. Swift and Diplo locked horns in an ugly feud last year which resulted in a massive Twitter war. The D had apparently said rude things about the 'Blank Space' singer, suggesting that 'someone should make a Kickstarter to get Taylor Swift a booty'.
This resulted in a social media war, as Taylor Swift fans rushed to the aid of their idol. Taylor's BFF Lorde even came to her defense, tweeting that Diplo had a 'tiny penis.'
Diplo would also taste the wrath of Taylor's fans when they also sent him "hate Tweets". The DJ lamented during his interview with GQ Magazine that Taylor's fans were people you didn't want to mess with.
They threatened to murder me and stuff. It's really bizarre, and disgusting," the musician said. "They're the worst people in the world." he said.
Just a few weeks ago, Diplo stirred up controversy yet again by suggesting that he knew Taylor's Swift's "darkest secrets." At the time of the controversial tweets, Diplo and Taylor's infamous frenemy, Katy Perry were dating.
However, it seems like both Taylor and Diplo have put their feud aside and have winded down at the Grammys after party. Diplo even posted an Instagram pic of himself and the 'Shake it Off' star.
"Then this happened @taylorswift vs taylor spliff #grammys2015," Diplo wrote.
What do the odd pair have in common? They both seem to hate Katy Perry for one thing. Diplo and Katy have been dating on-and-off, and they have kept their relationship under wraps. As of the moment, it seems like Katy has hooked up once again with crooner John Mayer. Taylor, on the other hand has been subjected to Katy's major diss war during the Super Bowl event.
Both Taylor and Katy have been engaging in a diss war as of late, and have been proving that they are each other's sworn enemy. Does this mean that Diplo and Taylor will be "best of friends" now that they have one common enemy? Only time will tell.
As expected, Taylor and Katy avoided each other during Sam Smith's after party. Taylor partied until the wee hours of the morning, while her bestie Ed Sheeran accompanied her. Diplo arrived at the party with Madonna, who he worked with on her album Rebel Heart.
