Pop star singer Justin Bieber is doing well in his anger management classes and even receives good feedback from his probation officer, his lawyer reported Tuesday.
According to a post from Perez Hilton, Justin's lawyer Shawn Holley reported her client's anger management progress at a Los Angeles court. In her report, the singer already completed 9 out of 12 anger management classes. JB's probation officer also said that Bieber's showing sincerity in completing his sessions and displays full cooperation in doing his "community labor". However, the 20 year old Hollywood star haven't completed one day of his six-day community work because of a sports injury.
According to Shawn, JB got a foot injury when he played soccer last month in Turks and Caicos. The lawyer then provided a doctor's note pertaining to the singer's injury, Mirror reported.
Previously, the singer was ordered by the Los Angeles court to do anger management counseling and community work after egging his neighbor's house last year. Bieber then pleaded no contest when misdemeanor vandalism was filed against him in July.
The court ordered the pop star to pay $80,900 for damages to his neighbor's house. He was also required to finish six days of community service and attend 12 anger management sessions.
Meanwhile, the singer apologized for his recent patterns of reckless behavior in an online video posted at Bieber's Facebook account. JB explained that his actions were just a result of his youth and the hardships of growing up in the spotlight.
"I'm not who I was pretending to be," he said. "Why I say I was 'pretending' is [often] we pretend to be something we're not as a cover up of what we're truly feeling inside. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard."
After Tuesday's hearing, Superior Court Judge Leland B. Harris set another hearing on May 11 for an update, KCBY said.
