A pregnant Kate Middleton appeared last Monday in a London hospital school to visit children suffering from long term health problems after her two-week break in Mustique in a supposed effort to cover Prince Andrew's sex scandal. Middleton visited the children at Bethel and Maudsley Hospital School located in south London, Daily Mail reports.
Kate Middleton, now six and a half months pregnant, went to the school early Monday morning on an unpublicised event. She visited the kids and joined in on a ukulele class and participated. A teacher in the school, Dr. Ivens even stated that the Duchess was a good listener. One boy was even mentioned to show Middleton a few chords on the instrument and that she learned them fast.
The visit to Bethel and Maudsley Hospital School was part of the Place2Be charity, a charity that is very special for Kate Middleton says Hellomagazine. The guests at that event praised the Duchess for taking a hands-on approach with the Place2Be charity and that she is a very active participant in its events. Last year, the first Place2Be Wellbeing in Schools Awards ceremony was hosted by her in her home.
Rumours surface that this visit by the Duchess to the Bethel and Maudsley Hospital School was forced upon her to remove the media's focus and attention from the scandalous news involving Prince Andrew.
