What would you say is the best way to save the animals? Protesting? Donating to an animal rights group? Just wandering out to the forest and saving them yourself? Well... what about getting naked? It seems a little unbelievable, but that's exactly what Pink's doing to help PETA in their cause to keep animals safe.
The singer can be seen on a massive, 90-foot PETA billboard shown in Times Square, and she's completely nude, for all the world to see. It's nothing graphic- she's covering up all the stuff that might be too inappropriate- but it's certainly a compelling statement.
The billboard is the latest in PETA's "Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign, where stars pose in the nude rather than wear anything that might have been made out of a previously-living animal. Stars like Khloe Kardashian and Olivia Munn have already taken naked shots for the same campaign.
The photo was first shared on PETA's Facebook page, where it can be seen above.
Speaking about the billboard, Pink admitted that she's not as adamant about avoiding fur as she should be.
I would like to say I've always been fur-free," the "Try" singer explained. "Unfortunately, I went through a selfish phase and wore fur on a couple of occasions. But I wised up and now boycott fur completely. I wish everyone was forced to learn the horrors that these animals go through for fashion trends. I hope fur wearers get bitten in the ass by the same kind of animal they wear on their back."
What do you think? Is Pink doing her animal companions proud be baring it all on a 90-foot advertisement? Is this more about seeing naked celebrities then protecting animals? Either way, celebs have done similar photos in the past, and they'll probably keep doing them in the future.
