Died in the wool Divergent fans continue to hope that lead actors Shailene Woodlyy and Theo James take their reel-world romance to the real world as the premier of Insurgent draws ever closer.
The only stumbling block, and also the biggest, is that both actors are reportedly in some sort of relationship with other people—at least for the moment! James has a long-time girlfriend, Ruth Kearney, while Woodley has found a steady date in Indie musician Nahko, Classicalite revealed.
However, the on-screen couple’s supposedly growing fan base may just have found something to cling on to. A careful look at the two’s subtle body signals during press events may just give a hint of something brewing off-screen. Body language expert Judi James, who has observed the couple, concluded that Woodley and James are the “real deal,” according to Entertainment Wise.
The body language expert stopped short of saying that the two might be “hooking up” but emphasized that the deep friendship appears genuine. She sites photos of the two that indicate that there is genuine trust and a feeling of ease during unguarded moments.
Meantime, Insurgent, which will hit theaters on March 20, can only serve to encourage followers who want to see real sparks fly between Woodley and James. In a scene from the movie, heroine Tris (Woodley) awakens to see protector-boyfriend Four (James) in front of her, and immediately whispers “you’re real,” in spoiler bits revealed by Design and Trend.
In the second installment of the Divergent trilogy, people will find the love between Tris and Four growing ever deeper, as the two are relentlessly pursued by those who wish to perpetuate a segregated Chicago of the future. There are reportedly more than a few scenes guaranteed to titillate audiences around the world. But by all indications, nothing short of a blurring of fact and fiction will truly satisfy some fans!
