Wishes of Star Wars fans will probably come true as the long awaited seventh installment of the Star Wars saga is rumored to be released earlier than is expected. A speculation rounding up is saying that the Star Wars Episode Seven: The Force Awakens might be in theaters as early as summer.
Director of the movie, J.J. Abrams is reportedly convincing Disney to release the movie this summer of 2015. According to Movie Pilot, Abrams had revealed his intention of releasing the iconic science-fantasy franchise a little bit earlier in the Visual Effects Society Awards.
Considering that releasing the film as early as summer would be a major competition between "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" and "Jurassic World". Meanwhile, predictions speculated that if he sticks with the original plan of releasing the film by December 18, the film will easily be the biggest movie of the fourth quarter.
A report by Ikwiz said that Disney is taking the director's request in serious consideration. Abrams is apparently worried about certain plot leaks that have circled in the Internet and that his surprises for the fans will be out in the open. However, Disney wouldn't likely to change the plan as it would be a competition between a film they co-produce with Marvel.
News is that last week Disney have done some investigation about some sites that is illegally leaking contents of Star Wars VII. As reported by The Telegraph, Disney is requesting a subpoena from a judge to a website called ImageShack. The site was said to have a blurred image of what seems to be a Sith Lord holding a red lightsaber. A company employee from Disney supported the allegation by confirming the image to be a leaked image from the seventh episode of Star Wars.
The rumors of releasing Star Wars:The Force Awakens six months earlier is not yet confirmed, but fans are already saving their money for tickets in case it really goes out this summer.
