"Star Trek 3" has just got a new production team from script writer to its director. J.J. Abrams, who previously sat on the director's chair in the first two movie of the rebooted Star Trek franchise, speaks up on how the latest installment will perform in the box-office.
With the recent changes in the production team of "Star Trek 3" things will be heading to a new direction. Apparently, Simon Pegg will be joining the script writer in the upcoming film and develop the dialogues and screenplay for the entire movie. His co-actor voiced out that Pegg will be a good writer and they support him in his new assignment. Furthermore, Justin Lin will direct the upcoming film as Director J.J. Abrams steps down in order to pursue his "Star Wars 3 Episode 7: The Force Awakens" project with Disney.
Bryan Cranston was reported to be the top pick of Paramount Studios as the new villain for "Star Trek 3". New states that Cranston has been in meeting with the Studio but there is no official announcement yet with regard to his involvement with the upcoming film.
J.J. Abrams also was able to reveal a few details on the upcoming "Star Trek 3" and its new production team. According to the director, even though he is no longer directing the third installment of the Star Trek reboot, he will still be involved with as its Executive Producer. J. J. Abrams further said that he had a talk with Simon Pegg with regard to the movie's plot and story and he thinks that Pegg "had a lot of wonderful ideas," adding that "It just sort of felt obvious that he would be a wonderful person to work on the story and help craft the story, so he's working on it".
