A rare collection of royal memorabilia spanning 200 years old is set for auction on February 17. According to Daily Mail's report, the royal collection includes a photograph of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, photographs of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, original ceremonial service orders, and royal letters.
Two handwritten letters of Princess Diana sent to John Gairdner, thanking him for sending her flowers is also included in the collection.
Other items for sale also include signed pictures of late Queen Victoria, a 1937 note from the Queen Mother to her dressmaker, and telegrams written and received by British Royals.
Christmas cards with photos of late Princess Diana, Prince Charles and children, Prince William and Prince Harry are also expected in the auction, Express UK reported.
Apart from that, a royal breakfast menu from Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding is also up for grabs. The said menu contains English asparagus, organic lamb with Highgrove spring vegetables, and Jersey Royal potatoes, from Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding in 2011, Invitations to the service at Westminster Abbey, two ceremonials and an order of service, are also up for grabs, The Inquistr reported.
According to auctioneer James Grinter, the collection is "extraordinary."
"It is very rare to find such a remarkable royal collection as this. It spans 200 years from Queen Victoria, through King Edward VII, King George V, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, King George VI and the Queen Mother and our current Queen. The breadth, quality and condition of the individual items is amazing." Grinter said.
Prices of those items are not yet revealed but The Inquistr predicted that a black and white portrait photograph of Princess Diana, is estimated to cost $5,000.
The historical royal memorabilia is up for grabs on February 17 at Reeman Dansie's Royal memorabilia sale, Daily Mail reported.
