Massive Star Wars Battlefront rumors have surfaced on one fan site last week. Details revealed include the game’s campaign storyline, multiplayer features, character development, as well as expansion DLC schemes. While everything revealed seems to be legit, EA’s official statement about the game would still have to come out later this Spring,
According to the leaked Star Wars Battlefront rumors, the game will have both single player campaigns as well as multiplayer gameplay. Campaign mode is said to be longer compared to the other modern games. On the other hand, multiplayer mode is expected to support up to 64 players per battle, the same feature present in the Battlefield series.
The story would still most likely be about the ongoing conflict of the Old Republic, Rebellion, and Republic versus the evil Separatists and the Empire Most of the story would have to take place during the original Star Wars trilogy
What makes the story more intriguing is that the final part of the single player campaign is supposed to serve as a prequel to the upcoming The Force Awakens film. This serves as a clue that the game should be launched some time before the movie.
As for the multiplayer modes, they would probably feature space-to-land combats. What makes them different though from Battlefield games is the “hero” system. According to rumors, it’s pretty much like a killstreak-style reward obtained when hero characters reach a certain point threshold.
Moreover, EA plans to release up to five “extremely aggressive” DLCs that come with additional characters and maps, which would most likely come from “The Force Awakens” movie
Apart from the game features and expansion packs, the source didn’t mention of any possible release date. Then again, Electronic Arts is expected to give the official details of the game some time in Spring.
If the leaked Star Wars Battlefront rumors are true, then it would sound very well to all fans of the franchise. Then again, the official details of the game would have to come from EA itself.
