Theresa "Trubel" Rubel, the young female Grimm will be returning to Portland, Oregon in any of the last nine-episodes of Season 4 in the occult detective drama series "Grimm". "Trubel" played by Jacqueline Toboni was last seen in Episode 7, heading to Philadelphia. However, fans will have to wait a bit longer for the 14th episode. "Grimm" goes on a month-long hiatus and won't be back until the 20th of March albeit at an earlier time slot.
Meanwhile, series creators David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf ascertained that "Trubel" will resurface anytime soon in the remaining episodes. "You're going to see her again this year, this very season. Very much towards the end," Greenwalt says during a recent "Grimm" set visit. There's no set episode for her to rejoin the Scooby Squad yet, Kouf explains: "We're still working out the last few episodes, so we don't know exactly."
Fans responded strongly to Trubel when she arrived in Season 3, and adding a second Grimm when Nick (David Giuntoli) was without his powers changed up the show's dynamic in a satisying way. Though Greenwalt acknowledges "we kind of hated to see her go," he says she was temporarily written off the show because "there were just so many characters to service, and once [Nick] got his powers back ... but, you know, she's just a great addition to the cast."
Even David Giuntoli in an earlier interview in December 2014 had speculated that Toboni's character will resurface before Season 5 starts.
"I don't know. We will not be seeing Trubel in the next episode." However, he added that "hopefully, we will be seeing her down the line. Even more hopefully, she gets her own spin-off show, which I think is great. I can do guest-star [appearances] every now and again. The aging Grimm. I can put my children through Ivy League universities by going on The Trubel Show."
On February 5, 2015, NBC Television Distribution confirmed a fifth season for "Grimm".
