What is iPad Pro? Why all the fuss about this seemingly non-existent Apple product?
iPad Pro is a wide screened iPad, sporting a 12.2-inch to 12.9-inch screen display. With that gigantic size, it can't be helped for it to be linked to Apple's plan of expanding its line-up of iPad products with a larger tablet.
The iPad Pro is expected to have a dimension of 12 inches by 8.7 inches, with slimmed bezels on both sides like the previous models. It will also have larger spaces for the Home button and FaceTime camera above and below the screen.
Meanwhile, there's a mixture of information about its launching date. The strongest of them is from Macotakara, a Japanese site that brings pretty much accurate predictions. According to a report published on its website, the iPad Pro would be released in the third quarter of 2015.
But reports on an earlier release date couldn't be dismissed as well especially that Bloomberg suggested that Apple is going to release a 12.9-inch screen iPad in early 2015. This is followed by the news that Apple suppliers were "set to start manufacturing the largest ever iPad in the first quarter of this year." This makes a reasonable guess considering that Apple had launched several iPad devices in March and April before.
For Macworld, a UK-based tech reviewer of Apple products, it expects the iPad Pro to have A8X processor which is the same as that of iPad Air 2. This is based on its wrap up of speculations, pointing them to the likelihood that the device's selling point is its speed. With A8X, a high-performing processor that is 55 percent faster than the A8 processor that is installed in iPhone 6 and iPhone Plus, that is not difficult to foresee.
Amidst the hype about the iPad Pro, everything remains a guess until now. That said, it would be a delight if the product's release date would be confirmed before the predicted launching dates. It would make the device's supporters doubly happy, too, if the prediction about the device featuring stereo speakers (speakers and a microphone will be placed on top and bottom part of the device) would become a reality, together with an ultra high-resolution display and other existing features of iPad Air 2 like Touch ID, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and 2GB of RAM.
